Users and Contacts

Every user is linked to a contact, in most cases it's appropriate to display the contact information of the user in your application instead of presenting the user. The details from the user model should be hidden as much as possible from end-users.

Access level options

access_level_options is only returned for users whose access_level is normal or limited. Each option is true if the user is allowed to do it:

OptionAllows the user to
copy_information_from_listsCopy information from lists
manage_reportsManage reports
run_scriptsRun scripts
delete_itemsDelete items
import_export_informationImport and export information
change_all_preferencesChange all preferences

Users, access levels and permissions are managed in the Daylite app; the API can only read them.
