Teams group users. Daylite uses them for sharing and permissions. As well as the teams set up in Daylite, every user has a private team containing only themselves, which you can find from the user's private_team. The list includes these private teams; is_private tells them apart.
Teams are managed in the Daylite app. The API can read them but not create or change them.
