Request for a test/sandbox Daylite account for API development

I have been a Daylite Cloud customer for several years. Daylite is the master record for my clients and matters.

I am now building an internal application (time tracking and invoicing) that will integrate directly with Daylite through the Daylite API - initially to read client and matter data, and later to update certain fields (for example a client's name or address) from the application.

Because my production Daylite database contains confidential client information, I do not want to develop or test write operations against it. I would therefore like to ask:

  1. Do you offer a separate test or sandbox Daylite account (with API access) for customers developing their own integrations? If so, what are the terms and the cost?
  2. If a dedicated sandbox is not available, is there a recommended way to obtain a second, isolated Daylite database with API access - for example an additional, minimal subscription - that can be used purely for development and testing?
  3. Are there any limitations I should be aware of when writing to contact/company fields, including custom ("extra") fields, through the API?

Any guidance on the right path would be much appreciated.
