Can the Daylite API import emails from Gmail as native Email records?

Hi Daylite team,

I’m exploring a custom Gmail sidebar for internal use in my business. The goal is to create contacts and save emails linked to Contacts, Opportunities and Projects without leaving Gmail’s web interface.

I found the API endpoints for reading existing emails and updating their links, but couldn’t find an endpoint for creating or importing a new email.

Could you please clarify:

Is there a supported way for a third-party integration to import an email as a native Daylite Email record, preserving its original date, sender, recipients, subject, HTML body, Message-ID and attachments? It should appear as an email in the Activity View, rather than as a Note or a link to Gmail.

If supported, what endpoint and input format should we use, and can the imported email be linked to multiple Contacts, Opportunities and Projects?

If the public REST API does not support this, is another supported method or partner API available for this use case?

An endpoint reference, sample request or confirmation that email import is not currently supported would be very helpful.

Thank you,
Aleksei
